Progress is slow but I have managed to get the figures cleaned up, primed, and mostly undercoated with acrylics.

RFC Pilot & Observer, 1916

I picked up one of the new releases from The Fusilier at the Atlanta Show and moved it to the front of my workbench. I decided to place it with a previously released Fusilier figure to represent a Royal Flying Corps pilot and observer from the Great War. They are certainly dressed for the cold temperatures aloft. The figure on the right is the new release. These are resin kits sculpted, in 1/24th scale, by my old friend Steve Warrilow. It is nice to see The Fusilier releasing kits again.

Getting ready for my upcoming trip to Atlanta. Next weekend is AMFS' 36th annual figure show. The club always puts on an excellent show and I look forward to it every year. I am calling him done and ready for the Atlanta Show! The picture is not the greatest but you get the idea. A nice , simple conversion really changes the look of the Andrea kit. Finished with oil paint.

Getting ready for next month's Atlanta Show, I moved this figure to the front of my workbench. This is a conversion of an Andrea 54mm German Stormtrooper from the Great War. I replaced the kit supplied head and helmet with one from Scale Link. I had to carve away some straps from the front of the torso and do some putty work as the stock kit was designed to have the gasmask hanging on the front of the soldier and not wearing it. I also replaced the figure's right hand with a different one to which I added a grenade. He is currently primed and awaiting undercoating and then the final application of oils.

Next up on my workbench is this 120mm figure, sculpted by Maurice Corry.  The figure represents an officer of the Rifle Brigade during the Crimean War.  Uniform is green with black braiding.

This 120mm WWI US Marine, armed with a "trench broom", is from Nemrod.  I replaced the kit supplied helmet with one from the Michael Roberts line.  Painted in oils.
